About Bennett’s Village

Bennett’s Village was the name of our fundraising team that raised money to help find a cure for the condition that Bennett lived with: Spinal Muscular Atrophy. It was also the name we gave to our community, who offered so much love and support. We feel it is the perfect name for an all-abilities park in Bennett’s memory.

We are working to build a multigenerational, all-abilities playspace here in Charlottesville and advocating to change the way our community sees inclusion.
