October 2020 update

It’s an exciting time for Bennett’s Village!

Bennett’s Village A Place for All to MOVE Challenge was a success! We had almost 80 participants and raised over $3,500. Cosmo the Sheepdog joined us and brought smiles to everyone at the park. We moved through our future home and took photos in front of the “big sign.” Most of all, we had a lot of fun doing all these things. We couldn’t have pulled it off without your support!

Prizes for the best social media submissions go to Kendra Butler, Diana Smith, and Andy Orban. They will get Bennett’s Village magnets to place on their car or refrigerator.

New logo
We are so excited about our new logo, which better reflects our vision for Bennett’s Village to be a place where ALL can play. Special thanks to David Robinson of Birch Studio and artist Tim Jones for working to integrate the old logo with the new!

New sign at Pen Park: “Future Home of Bennett’s Village”

We are so excited to have our “Future Home of Bennett’s Village” sign placed at Pen Park so that the community can learn more about our project. Be sure to stop by and check it out.

To celebrate our new logo, we have T-shirts, long-sleeve shirts, and tanks with the new Bennett’s Village logo available right now:  customink.com/fundraising/bennetts-village. (Participants in the Challenge should have gotten an email for special Challenge pricing.)

Interested in working on curriculum related to inclusivity and play?  Bennett’s Village is looking for some folks willing to get together (virtually) to work on developing curriculum for preschool/K-12 students. If you are interested in this area of our advocacy, please indicate your interest by filling out our volunteer form: bennettsvillage.org/volunteer.
